Kids learn a great deal about our environment and the effects of climate change. The Green Thumb program from The Smart Cookies translates these concepts into practical ways to feed a child’s innate curiosity. 

Composting is a great way to introduce kids to the environment and sustainability. It’s also a good way of unravelling some of the Science behind decomposition! We call it our green STEM lesson.

In this short program, kids will first explore the magic of microbes and the terrors of landfills through interactive quizzes, polls and getting their hands dirty! We will start a composting project with minimal parental help.
